(Yes, we do have the final say as to whether or not such project can begin in your country.)
Otherwise, upon the completion of your one-year tenure, you will have an opportunity to remain an Official Global Ambassador subject to meeting all terms and conditions of the renewal of your appointment.
In the interim, by virtue of your current or prior status as Official Global Ambassador, your name will be placed on a Priority Waiting List of Fellowship Applicants until such time as the official launch of a Futuristic City-State Enclave in your country gets underway.
Thus, in the absence of a concerted national grass-roots campaign on the part of your country's citizens; a strong lobbying effort to get your country's leaders to endorse such project; and depending on the wisdom and foresight of your country's leaders, or lack thereof; the transition from Official Global Ambassador to Postdoctoral Virtual Organization Leadership Fellow could take anywhere from one year to an eternity - or never.
